Did you know Aim Hire has the option of both sewer-connected and standalone (chemical) portable toilets? Furthermore, Aim Hire’s toilet blocks are all sewer-connect compatible as standard but have the option to hire a waste tank if required.
The benefit of standalone toilets and toilet blocks on waste tanks is that they are compatible with building sites in regional areas and new estates where sewer lines have not yet been run. They are more portable than the sewer-connected options and can be set up anywhere on-site that is most suitable to the build (provided the position is accessible for servicing and collection). They are dropped off and ready for use as soon as they arrive on site. Standalone toilets and toilet blocks on tanks are serviced by Aim Hire as required or on a 4 weekly schedule. Aim Hire’s hire toilets are treated with chemicals and hold up to 390litres – the largest waste tank on the market. This means the waste does not need to be disturbed as regularly and therefore omits less odour compared to other toilets on the market. Standalone toilets are always in high demand, but luckily Aim Hire has a fleet of thousands of toilets and can usually deliver within 3 working days.
Sewer-connect toilets, on the other hand, are a clear preference for many trades on suitable sites. Female trades, in particular, have recently expressed their preference for the Aim Hire’s sewer-connected toilet options, and they are definitely not the only ones. The biggest benefit of a sewer connect toilet is it works just like any other toilet; you can flush the waste and it goes straight into the sewer rather than sitting in the tank below the toilet which means odour does not linger at all. The sewer connected toilets also don’t require any servicing or pump outs whilst on site so there is generally no additional charges for your toilet, no matter how much your trades use it. Sewer connected toilets are perfect for bathroom renovations and new builds in areas where the sewer line has already been connected.
Unfortunately, sewer connect are not as readily available as the standalone toilets and therefore pricing given to you by our operations consultants will be subject to availability – but we can easily check availability while you are on the phone.
If you’re unsure whether to opt for a sewer connect or stand-alone toilet, our Aim Hire staff members will be happy to advise which will be the most suitable option for your next project and the availability of both options for your planned start date.
For all your hire needs, you can contact Aim Hire directly via phone or email. Our operations consultants endeavour to respond to all email quote requests within 48 hours.
